How it works is I will send you an online questionnaire; and your answers will generate a Will, Power of Attorney, and Personal Directive that’s ready to sign. Don’t worry, I will look over the documents to ensure they achieve the legal effect you’re intending.

You will not be required to appear at my office for a signing meeting. When the documents are ready, I will send you a brief instruction sheet on how to sign the documents into effect. This is meant to be the easiest version of making a Will, Power of Attorney, and Personal Directive. 

What is “Power of Attorney”?

A power of attorney is a legal document that grants someone the authority to make legal and financial decisions on behalf of another person. For example, your “Attorney” named in your Power of Attorney can sign Land Transfer documents for you, and operate your bank accounts. As part of a Will Package, the Power of Attorney is meant to cover a situation where you are still alive but have lost capacity to make decisions for yourself.

What is a “Personal Directive”

A Personal Directive is a legal document that grants someone the authority to make personal decisions on behalf of another person. For example, your “Agent” named in your Personal Directive can direct a medical provider to follow your wishes with respect to life support and resuscitation. As part of a Will Package, the Personal Directive also addresses the scenario where you are still alive but have lost capacity to make decisions for yourself.
